I am a second-year diploma student studying mechanical engineering with a specialization in biomedical engineering at Singapore Polytechnic. During my studies at Singapore Polytechnic, I have been able to enhance my knowledge of mechanical engineering while also being trained to use various engineering software tools employed in different engineering industries.Throughout my engineering journey, I have had opportunities to work with diverse groups on projects, which has made me a collaborative problem-solver with the ability to quickly adapt to both new environments and team dynamics. I consistently deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines and have gained leadership skills to guide my team effectively and ensure we complete tasks successfully.At Singapore Polytechnic, I have been exposed to a range of software tools used in the engineering industry, including AutoCAD Mechanical, Autodesk Inventor, Visual Studio, NI Multisim, and MasterCAM for computer-aided machining. These tools have helped me solve engineering problems and expand my knowledge of different software applications.Outside of academics, I enjoy boosting my creativity through activities like drawing and painting. Additionally, I like to exercise to relieve stress, engaging in activities such as running, cycling, and high-intensity interval training (HIIT). I am also part of ACER, a department at Singapore Polytechnic that helps organize events like open houses and reaches out to graduating secondary school students to encourage them to join our polytechnic.Furthermore, I am a main committee member of the Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering School Club for AY24/25, where I manage events and actively participate in planning and organizing activities. This role has further developed my leadership skills and teamwork abilities, as well as taught me how to balance my academic responsibilities with my co-curricular activities.
