His name is CHEN-WEI, LI (Joseph), a graduate of the Institute of Biochemical Sciences at National Taiwan University. Armed with a bachelor's degree in Medical Technology from National Cheng Kung University, he successfully passed the Medical Technologists Licensure Examination. In Dr. Po-Huang Liang's laboratory at Academia Sinica, he conducted research on antiviral compounds against the novel coronavirus, leading to two published papers. Proficient in various lab techniques such as plasmid design and protein purification and drug screening, he also served as the Academic Director of the NTU Bioindustry and Entrepreneurship Student Association (NTU BESA), showcasing his leadership and organizational skills. His academic excellence earned him the Dean's Award from the College of Life Science at National Taiwan University. During his master's studies, he also gained expertise in data analysis and machine learning (including deep learning).
