Hey there! I’m Xiao, a Ph.D. with a background in pedagogy and psychology, along with 8+ years of experience in qualitative and quantitative research. I’m a whiz with tools like SQL, R, SPSS, and Tableau for all things statistics and visualizations, and skilled at surveys, interviews, usability testing, HCI design, and etc. I believe in practicing critical thinking and embracing a lifelong learning mindset.During my time in graduate school, I created a social media account about fashion trends that grew to over 8 million followers, leading me to start my own company. Through my journey as an influencer, I discovered my knack in data collection, audience insight, and storytelling. Sold the account in 2023 and made it rain!I am now seeking opportunities in roles such as UX Researcher, Data Analyst, and anything in that realm. Outside of work, I am a proud mom of two boys, and have called Seattle home for the past five years. Skiing and free diving are my passions, providing me with new challenges and growth.
