Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working alongside visionary leaders in the fields of finance, technology, and innovation. In 2018, I collaborated with a government advisor (my esteemed mentor), and a NASA engineer on a groundbreaking adventure. The project combined XR algorithms, Blockchain, and AI frameworks to create a digital twin enterprise solution for transportation and manufacturing giants. Despite facing skepticism from investors who deemed the narrative outdated and quote "AR/VR is old narrative, does not fit into the investment thesis trending now", we remained steadfast in our beliefs that this technology was disruptive. Unfortunately it did not receive the attention it deserved at the time. This memory had been forgotten until the boom of chatGPT. Fast forward in time, I have fully transitioned myself into the world of web3, and recently, as a founder. Drawing upon my past experiences, I am focused on developing a user-immersive application for digital asset holders. Utilizing valuable insights gained from the previous experience with my mentor, I now am equipped with a level of insights on how to structure and integrate basic AI features to enhance our value proposition and go-to-market strategy. Unbeknownst to me, I also discovered that mentioning that story serves as a captivating icebreaker when I reach out to forge new connections as I seek experienced advisors in the AI and web3 fields for my project.During my 6-year journey, I have delved into various verticals of the space, gaining operational expertise and experiencing the highs and lows of different projects. From navigating unpredictable markets to grappling with failed expectations and undelivered endeavors, I have often found myself lost in positioning and sense of achievements. As I continue to seek my niche in the world of innovation, I have come to realize that my passion remains in the process of 0 to 1, I have also learnt to surround myself with a crowd where I could positively exercise new creations.I may not be a successful entrepreneur, yet? I'm only sharing this as an inspiration for those on their own paths of discovery in any professions. Timing of innovation is not always predictable, but the effort put into learning and venturing into uncharted territories will yield surprises and sometimes, rewarding opportunities.
