👋🏼 I'm a cross-functional social impact strategist and philanthropic advisor with over 15 years of multi-sector roles in various organizations. As an experienced people and project manager, I relish detangling sticky problems while crafting thriving worker-first team culture in mission-driven sectors. 🏔️ From focused units of 7 to wide-reaching outfits of over 30 people, I've managed teams that move mountains together. 💸 While Director of Partnerships at the second-largest U.S. grantmaker in Sub-Saharan Africa, I worked to build more equitable relationships between doers and donors, facilitating over $40 million in new funding relationships for African nonprofits and social entrepreneurs. 🗳️ As Director of Operations at Flippable, I worked with a small but unstoppable team to democratize access to data-informed political giving in the US, channeling donations from over 100,000 grassroots donors to state legislature races to fortify voting rights and fair redistricting policy. 🌽 At One Acre Fund, I organized the last mile delivery of agricultural inputs to smallholder farmers in Rwanda, managed a credit portfolio of over $4 million with a national network of agro dealers, and facilitated a coalition of the world’s largest agricultural microfinance institutions. 🌱 As a 2010-2011 Global Health Corps fellow and Country Director for FACE AIDS, a program of Partners In Health in Rwanda, our team delivered youth-focused community health education and support services to people living with HIV. 🪢 It's my privilege to sit on the boards of AkiraChix, Fundi Bots, and formerly the Network of Engaged International Donors. 🤸🏻♀️ When I'm not cooking dishes from my Southeast Asian and Midwestern heritages, I'm happiest when painting or learning a new trick on the flying trapeze.
