Cherag is a Corporate strategy professional with 6+ years of demonstrated domain knowledge across companies in BFSI & Education Space.He’s recently pivoted his career from educational domestic & International markets to the BFSI industry, and is working in the CEO’s office for India’s one of the biggest player dealing in debt capital market - responsible for design and deployment of the organization's strategic roadmap and business initiatives. Enabling the firm and departments to achieve the growth objectives, adopt new ideas and thoughts to augment organisation's performance and see it through. His role is a mix of strategic, functional, cross-functional and organization wide initiatives ranging from the short-term to the medium & long term along with delivering for the MD & CEO on special projects.He works on a diverse set of initiatives with department heads and cross-functional teams. Support business teams to deliver on their financial goals such as P/L, Cost of Acquisition, EPI and non-financial goals such as improving of business efficiencies, along with tracking competition, key market moves, regulatory changes and provide guidance to leadership on responses to those actions. Previously worked in the Indian Education space with the company's MD & CEO where his role involved working towards End-to-End project delivery, Process implementation, Performance management & Relationship Management. He has organised multiple events along with the company’s Co-Founder & Chief Strategy Officer, Mr Vivek Anand Oberoi to scale the business at international levels which resulted in launching a pioneer model in India of Entrepreneurship & Development with the recognition of MIT, USA. Moreover, In the race of expansion and growing the business, He has closely worked with the company’s Chief Business Officer and successfully onboarded 13 major acquisitions and responsible for end-to-end delivery for all those accounts.
