For the past 20 years, I have worked in health care and public health in a variety of roles.Currently, I hold the position of Executive Director and Community Health Administrator role for a Public Health and Human Services agency where I oversee operations for 135 employees and a 21 million dollar budget. I oversee all areas of Public Health and Human Services within Faribault & Martin Counties, which includes providing essential public health and social services to all resident in our communities. We provide programs and services including the Women, Infant, Children (WIC), Healthy Families America (HFA), Child & Teen Check-Up, Environmental Health, Statewide Health Improvement Program (SHIP), Immunizations, Disease Control & Prevention, Emergency Preparedness and Care Coordination Services for 65+, Child Protection, Financial Assistance programs, Adult Protection, Waiver Services, Behavioral Health and Business Operations. I maintain direct oversight of the Public Health Department in my current role.
