At this current juncture in my life, I am open to exploring new and different opportunities. I am excited to explore my options.I am a Certified Teacher, endorsed and highly qualified in Middle Level Humanities, Secondary History, and Secondary English--I love all subjects, though. Besides teacher, I am a wife, mom, nana, student, musician, historian, aspiring writer, and aspiring public speaker. My favorite subjects to teach are History/Social Studies, World Comparative Religions, and Creative Writing, thus far.My customer service and verbal/written communication skill levels can be described as distinguished. Before and during teaching, I spent 10 years in retail with some managerial assignments. Currently, I work with Developmentally Disabled adults, improving their quality of life as a Life Enrichment Coach. Several of my professional dreams/goals include: inspirational public speaking, recording a music album, editing and publishing my grandfathers two manuscripts, editing my sister's book to be published, publishing my own book of Poetry, and writing/publishing my future books, "Damaged Goods" and "Overcoming Myself." I desire to also teach emerging teachers strategies to recognize behavioral/emotional need, elicit emotional connections with their students, and to aid in District Social Emotional Learning (SEL) implementation. My passions for teaching, behavior intervention, and SEL are comparable to none, no matter what capacity or where the opportunity. Loving, Teaching, and Learning are my life.I am looking to widen my network and make new contacts relating to the Psychology, Educational, Literary, Public Speaking, and Musical worlds. I love connecting with people all over our amazing planet. I welcome any and all opportunities to grow as a professional and as a person.
