Responsible for 2 hospital-wide credentialing and related activities for initial appointment of qualified physicians and other health care practitioners including the processing and analyzing of new applications, requests for temporary privileges, locum tenens and disaster privileges for medical staff members. Identifies key issues and problems, analyzes.

Responsible for the development, coordination, planning and operational administration of the Medical Staff and Adjunct Professional Staff credentialing/privileging/reappointment process as defined by NCQA and Joint Commission also providing administrative support to the organized Medical Staff. Oversite of all medical license, DEA, and malpractice.

Responsible for the credentialing/privileging/reappointment process and provided general administrative support to the organized Medical Staff and Manager. Exposure to confidential information.
