Identifies CCAR data gaps, creates business requirements for long term data remediation efforts. Develops and executes data remediation testing plans. Data Governance Group Representative. Leverages vast systems and data knowledge and drives improvement to contribute to overall CCAR data submission and improvements. Leverages loan administration expertise while working with the business owners to document, implement and maintain the metadata and business rules for the bank’s data. Participates in working groups across business lines to gain consensus and agreement on issues, especially shared data and shared systems. Manages the data within the group and ensures adherence to consistent definitions, business naming standards, development of standard calculations, security requirements, etc. Acts as project manager to oversee and execute data cleansing, remediation, and process improvement initiatives. Documents, prioritizes and updates data quality related issues; works closely with business and technology representatives to have them resolved. Identifies authoritative sources for key data elements. Develops and enforces methods and validation mechanisms for ensuring data quality and accuracy through the Data Warehouse for regulatory reporting. Monitors the quality of data within the bank’s systems as it relates to CCAR. Entrusted with improving, and maintaining a high level of, data quality. Develops metrics and reporting requirements for ongoing monitoring of the group’s data. Assists the technology teams in the identification of data not found within the bank’s primary systems. Provides status to the data management lead as well as manage and escalate issues.
