As the Board Chair at Girls First, I lead a passionate and diverse team of board members, staff, and volunteers who are committed to empowering girls utilizing a trauma informed arts-based approach to social emotional learning. I leverage my active listening, empathy, and analytical skills to foster a collaborative and supportive culture, as well as to oversee the strategic planning, fundraising, and governance of the organization. I am passionate about advancing the mission and vision of Girls First, which aligns with my own values and goals of promoting social justice, equity, and inclusion for girls and young women.
