I was responsible for the administration, including receipt, processing, approval and payment, of the Education Reimbursement program. I also balanced general ledgers, issued vendor payments, calculated (often manually) gross to net overpayments, requested repayment, and processed payments received. I was also responsible for process documentation of my procedures, and training of fellow employees. Other responsibilities included year end processing, vendor relations, and other such miscellaneous tasks.

At any given time, I was responsible for accurate administration, including initiating, paying, requesting and processing documentation, benefits coordination and returning of over 100 employees. Audits of leave files were conducted monthly, and I received 100 percent accuracy on all audits of my files.

I fielded incoming calls and questions from employees and vendors regarding employee benefits, payroll and accounts payable. I also participated in many special projects, including being the exclusive email liaison for the transition from semi-monthly to bi-weekly payroll for non-exempt employees. I was also responsible for training many of the staff on payroll, and then accounts payable when the roles of benefits, payroll and accounts payable were combined.

I acted as a switchboard at Corporate Headquarters and fielded telephone calls from escalated customers and resolved issues with tools provided. I also was responsible for greeting customer, clients, vendors, and job applicants as the Corporate front desk.
