Graduated from the University of Plymouth, studying Conservation Biology. In my first year, I completed modules in: Field biology, Cells, Ecology, Principles of Physiology, Evolution and Behaviour, Conservation Biology and Professional Developments in Biological Sciences. This has given me valuable skills in biology, for instance laboratory skills and crucial programs such as R, and essential knowledge in conservation.I’ve undertaken many fieldtrips which have given me the crucial understanding needed to work in the field and conduct reports on my findings. The skills gained from these include, species identification, ecology mapping, essential sampling methods and more. Not only this, but I am undertaking a two-week fieldtrip to Costa Rica in March where I will have the opportunity to demonstrate ecological techniques and data collection in an unfamiliar environment and show my ability to employ suitable identification procedures, data handling and analysis techniques. I’m currently in my second year and am completing modules in: Methods in Biology, Aquatic Biology and Animal Behaviour
