My desire to help others extends to volunteer work and advocacy for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. In 2019 I had a unique opportunity to compete in all five MuckFest mud runs from Boston to Denver as a tribute to my late dad who battled MS for many years. It was an amazing adventure to reflect on our journey and heighten awareness for the Society. And as of October 2020, I was fortunate to join the National MS Society, Northern California Chapter Board of Trustees.
