Specific achievements: Candidate won both Primary and General Election.Campaign fundraising exceeded goals set for both the Primary and the General Election. Campaign was entirely grassroots based in fundraising and achieved raising $280,000.00 from a vast base of individual supporters and organizations. Specific Duties: Key contact person for all outreach to community organizations, recruited, trained and supervised an extensive base of volunteers, supervised campaign calendar, organized distribution of campaign materials, managed all aspects of social media, earned media and campaign website content, exceeded fundraising goals for the campaign, responsible for all aspects of venue and event management. Served as a strategic partner for the campaign team.

Suspended professional career in campaigns with extensive traveling, to care for a family member with a terminal condition.

California Democratic Party17th Assembly District, San Joaquin and Merced Set up phone bank operations and supervised 30 staff members across three locations simultaneously. Supervised staff in creating 17th Assembly District precinct packages for volunteers including campaign materials such as door-hangers and mailers. Paired senior with new volunteers to speed training and maximize their effectiveness, and organized tasks in advance to keep volunteer downtime to a minimum. • Spearheaded the smooth transition from a voter registration facility to a campaign office and phone bank. • Developed precinct-walking strategies to cover housing developments that historically had not been covered. • Candidate won the seat by nearly 10,000 votes (13%).

Recruited, trained and directed a 17 member staff to increase registered Democrats in the 17th Assembly District. Orchestrated the team to canvas minority and disenfranchised voter neighborhoods, overcoming language barriers by utilizing multilingual staff on precinct walks. Increased the percent of district voters identifying as Democratic from 47 percent to 51 percent. Of the 15,000 additional registered voters in the 17th District, over 14,000 were Democrats. By comparison, the second-best Assembly district added 11,000. Recruited a new team from community colleges and high schools, and within two weeks the new team was achieving its daily goals.Received formal letter of appreciation from California Assembly Speaker Herb Wesson for turning around the voter registration drive.

Lead campaign activities to elect Paolo Maffei to his first term as Tuolumne County Supervisor. Networked with members of the Voters Choice advocacy group to build alliances with the candidate on smart growth development.Recruited and trained volunteers on a consistent message during phone banking and precinct walking.Retooled the campaign message that transformed the candidate's image into a caring, dedicated business person and member of the community, and Paolo Maffei served two terms on the Board of Supervisors.
