I worked on new distributor and franchisee online training modules. This process includes template creation, graphic design, and R&D - as well as content creation, voice over, and quiz production.

I worked as a Technical Writer for the USPS via Harris at the Norman, Oklahoma MTSC facility on an extremely detailed project involving vast changes to a very large piece of the USPS mail sorting equipment. It involves new character recognition software and hardware, additional software and hardware updates, physical updates to the machine, and detail on every maintenance process involved with this particular machine and all of its parts. My main tasks in this project are to stay educated of equipment changes, review all content, and add each piece of content into our Vasont XML Content Management System for future reuse.

It was exciting to work with such an ever-growing and expanding, fast-paced, media relations company. DGFC works with TV, radio, and production-related companies all over the world - to provide them with a complex yet thorough web-based order entry system that allows for very specific requests from customers, including copies of previously recording digital media, DVD copy distribution, closed captioning, dub and ship, etc. I worked on a variety of e-learning and training modules (using Adobe Captivate), as well as online help and print manuals.

After full-time employment for almost three years, I have continued to work as a contract employee for Blockdot on a consistent basis.

I worked with a fabulous Project Management Office team until company-wide layoffs of our office and many others.

Worked for new clients to research, produce, and edit contractual policies and procedures manuals. Also assisted IT-related services desks, including researching, writing, verifying, testing, and implementing documentation specific to each desk (and to ACS in general). Involved in implementing a Knowledge Management project, using ServiceWare.
