Maintained the college's style guide and worked with the campus community to ensure consistency in marketing materials and the Mills website. Wrote copy, assisted with event photography/video, archived digital files and media clips, created press kits, and provided a range of administrative and marketing assistance.

Worked directly with Trazzler's founder and executive editor as an editor and community manager. Wrote a wide variety of online travel content, contributed photography for destinations worldwide, and published blog posts about weekend getaways. Promoted Trazzler and its travel writers on Twitter and Facebook and represented the brand on press trips. Collaborated with CVBs, DMOs, and Chambers on localized online campaigns, promoted weekend destinations and hotel deals, and assisted with social media-driven contests and giveaways.

Middle school writing and reading aide for English and history teachers at Corte Madera School. Scored district prompts, essays, and assignments for grades 4 to 8 based on specific rubrics. Led nonfiction and writing lessons in 6th and 7th grade language arts classes (summary, expository, narrative, persuasive, and descriptive). Tutored small groups and one-on-one in reading and note-taking strategy, critical thinking, and vocabulary enrichment. Assisted in all aspects of the middle school writing program, including Greek myth research, literature and poetry analysis, Eastern religion comparison, and drama scriptwriting.

Intern-turned-editorial assistant at the former print magazine of Edutopia. Pitched, reported, and wrote front-of-book and back-of-book stories, the monthly Extra Credit section (product reviews, educational trends, stats), and featurettes and how-tos. Fact-checked and proofread stories, assisted in reporting for features and cover stories, and worked with dozens of educators and authors.
