-Responsible for the conversion and rewrite of existing analytical and quality methods to comply with the new PepsiCo Global formats, while working cross-functionally with other groups.-Analyze and interpret GC/MS, GC/FID, HPLC, and other supporting data to determine analytical trends in addition to making technical assessments and recommendations on product and process issues.-Conduct oil quality and specialty tests using HPLC, AA, GC/FID, GC/MS, FT-IR, IC, UV/Vis, and wet chemistry analysis; provided instrument trouble shooting, data interpretation, and prepared written technical reports and presentations for team and project partners.

-Analyzed evidence and identified controlled substances using FT-IR, GC/MS, microscopy, and chemical analysis according ISO 17025 standards. -Determined ethanol concentration in blood samples using GC/FID. -Responsible for instrument calibration, maintenance, trouble shooting, data interpretation, writing detailed scientific reports, peer reviewing technical reports, collaborated with attorneys and detectives, and communicated complex data in a clear and concise fashion to the juries in court.

-Created/designed a new forensic chemistry course using both lecture and laboratory experiments to present course material.-Developed and lead students in experiments using various laboratory techniques and instruments including FT-IR and UV/Vis spectrophotometry.
