I’m a leading town planner and expert in greenfield planning, subdivisions & industrial developments with more than ten years’ experience in shaping new residential communities and industrial estates in Melbourne's growth areas to create great places for people to live and work. As Associate Director at Urbis, I help lead a team of industry experts to navigate developments through complex approval processes. With deep expertise in the complex Victorian Planning Scheme and project management skills, I’m the go-to person on new communities and industrial developments and provide clients in the public and private sector with due diligence advice right through to managing planning permit applications including post-permit management to facilitate subdivision and development. My understanding of the whole planning process and ability to communicate and engage means I can consider all stakeholders through the process. I am outcomes-driven and known for balancing perspectives, while advocating on behalf of clients to get the best outcomes.I enjoy talking with clients about opportunities, risk, challenges and changes within the property sector. I get great satisfaction from building deep relationships with my clients and work with major developers including Jinding, Charter Hall, Development Victoria and Dahua. Significant projects in the residential sector includes The Patch, Wollert Rise and Riverhills in Wollert and Riverwalk in Werribee. In the industrial sector, I have worked on significant industrial estates from subdivision through to development on the MidWest Estate, Tarneit Logistics Hub and CoreWest Estate in Melbourne's west, and Evans Park and Boronia Logistics Estate in Melbourne's east.With a Master of Urban Planning from RMIT University and a Bachelor of Planning & Design from the University of Melbourne, I’ve also been a sessional tutor at both RMIT University and The University of Melbourne on Strategic Planning and Planning Law & Statutory Planning, and am a member of the Planning Institute of Australia.I'm a recent member of the Emerging Leaders Group and currently part of the Working Smarter and Strengthening the Core working group within Urbis. I am passionate about driving innovative ideas and initiatives that foster opportunities for knowledge sharing, collaboration, inclusion and networking. I enjoy working with our young staff to get them excited about building their careers in the property industry.As a figure skater and former coach, I still head to the rink when I need a break and want to feel ice under my feet.
