My time on Haworth's tech team has had many similarities of a startup environment. Refactored front-end of a website for their client, Nike.Nike hosts an annual tournament for the best high school basketball teams in the country that features team schedules, stats and more. I refactored the website's HTML / CSS and populated it's view with data mapping from their WordPress content management system to their web application using PHP and phpMyAdmin. Though we had minimal time until our delivery deadline--I worked with a great team consisting of another talented developer and QA Engineer where the optimism permeated through this fun challenge.

One of the first video editor jobs True Talent Group sent me on was for their client, Patterson Dental in Mendota Heights, MN. This job required me to handle multiple editing projects with minimum supervision and maximum independence. I adapted quickly to the company’s workflow and communication pipeline. During my time at Patterson, I also animated a motion graphics piece with the design team and prepped deliverable for a client of Patterson.

While at HatlingFilm, I coordinated camera equipment rentals, processed purchase orders and supervised traffic. Other duties included creating estimates and invoices, handling release forms, music licensing and editing various projects when an extra hand was needed. During my time here, I initiated a company rebrand. While still in school, I went from interning to production assisting. As a production assistant, I compiled research information used to execute effective campaigns for media goals along with prepping and editing director reels for bids. Tons of on set opportunities was gained--leading me to learn all the ins-and-outs of the video production process.
