Details Job function as below with direct reporting to Finance Manager:  To prepare, maintain & monitor the accuracy of Consolidated accounting records for the entities in Singapore, Malaysia & China. To ensure timely reporting to SDI Group based on predetermined deadlines on monthly consolidation of management accounts. To prepare and/or review tax computation for the three entities. To constantly be updated of changes in tax matters and ensure their compliance. Monitor & ensure the compliance of all GST/VAT matters in the three entities. To provide accounting operational support on treasury matters such as liaison with bankers for issuance of LC, BGs, Loan & update of signing mandates for respective banks etc. To provide accounting operational support for credit controls, company secretarial (Eg: liaison with HQ secretarial for Board Resolution relevant matters) for the three entities. To supervise account assistant in all accounting aspects and check the full set of accounting for three entities to ensure the accuracy of accounting data for day-to-day management decision making purposes. To check and review all payment requisitions for the three entities before submission for management approval. To monitor and review balance sheet items to ensure accuracy of accounting treatment and timely re-class to P & L. To review the statutory audit report for Singapore & Shanghai entities prepared by Accounts Assistant. To prepare and attend to internal and external audits, including the preparation of Group Statutory audit report. To assist in the monitoring & alignment of financial policies & internal controls for adherence to the SDI group’s SOP & policies.
