Role & Responsibilities:Primary responsibility is to drive Intel’s customs and trade programs and compliance agenda in PRC. Ensure Intel’s compliance with local and international trade and customs regulation through risk management, process analysis and development, regulatory research and advocacy, and education and training. These include but not limited to: Identify and lead strategic projects that drive greater alignment for Customs/Trade compliance across PRC. Proactively understand the implications of PRC customs regulations on Intel's operations. Work closely with site Trade teams to drive improved coordination that results in greater efficiency and utilization of our Customs resources across PRC Drive Intel’s worldwide policy on Customs issues through risk management, self-audit, education, and training. Develop and provide technical Customs/Trade training to Internal GTT Trade team and up-level their technical expertise. Work closely with key business organizations and Intel’s business managers to provide advice on trade related issues as well as opportunities including but not limited to new business processes, logistics operations, import, export, valuation, origin and classification rules, materials and asset eBook compliance.Formulate & implement policies that ensure compliance, minimize exposure and maximize cash flow.Be the face of Intel on Trade related matters with government institutions such as Customs, Tariff Bureau, Statistics Bureau, and industry associations like Chambers of Commerce, etc. to promote policies on trade facilitation, drive process improvements impacting trade efficiency and compliance.Apply expertise on trade, perform detailed research and analysis on complex trade issues, and apply trade rules through systems and processes. Train & educate business partners (Logistics, Planning, Materials, IT, CS, Mfg Operations) on trade related matters & Intel policies to ensure worldwide trade compliance.

Role & Responsibilities:Lead / coordinate / support various upcoming projects to better support AP customs operation.Design and compile standardized operation procedure for China sites and other AP countries and audit the execution status on time basis.Handle tough exceptions such as customs valuation, authorities (Customs, CIQ, ASB, etc.) audit & investigations, etc.Analyze FTA opportunities over AP region and utilize FTA preferential rate to the upmost.Study and analyze Customs valuation regulations and policies, review and decrease risk level and handle Customs valuation cases for AP region.Provide support to other AP countries where applicable, such as Singapore FTA management, Thailand BOI management, toll manufacturing to Korea, Vietnam new plant set up, etc.Work out package materials for different purpose, such as advisory, FAQ, assessment report, RASIC, training materials, etc.Deliver training to internal customers with updated SOP, customs advisory and customs regulations.
