I was first employed in a part time capacity as a waitress while studying at VUW. I have worked my way up to General Manager & accepted a full time position at the completion of my study.A highlight of my position occurred when I was given the opportunity to select new furniture for the restaurant as well as a small kitchen redesign, which included sourcing new equipment. I worked with the owners to place the order, and then organised the shipment from China.I was also involved with the recent re-design of the bar cabinets in the restaurant.My main roles at Regal are:• Customer service control, quality assurance• Front of the house• Business planning• Leading the front of house team• Team training• Staff rostering• Budgeting, managing cash, and stock control

After the departure of my manager in August 2015, I was promoted to Senior and given additional responsibilities including:• Management of CAD team resources• Management of offshore resources, including preparing and sending projects, review of engineer markups, preparing project briefs, liaison with and feedback to outsource teams located in Vietnam and India• Attend BIM project coordination meetings• Review BIM Execution Plans & attend project BEP meetings• Provide training and support to Revit-Engineers, monitor their Revit behaviour• Set up all Wellington projects• Review and verify drawings• Manage NDYs involvement in projects to ensure that work is completed efficiently and at the right time, with minimum rework. I joined NDY Wellington in March 2012 initially for work experience to compliment my interior design degree. I was offered a contract role then became full time in July. I am pleased to have grown my BIM understanding and ability to become a key member of the team within a short period of time. I have had two promotions within 3.5 years in the building services industry, which shows the value of my abilities.I can be relied on to produce good quality accurate documents in both 2D and 3D. This includes working across the broad spectrum of sub disciplines that fall under the building services umbrella. I take note of how the building fits together as I work and raise coordination issues as they arise.This role includes:• Advanced Revit modelling skills, able to document complex systems including plant rooms quickly and accurately• Set up models in accordance with NDY guidelines and project requirements. • QA check completed & WIP models to ensure the required structure has been maintained. Work within provided model structure for various model types, including Revit & Navisworks models.• Export data and compile Federated models in Revit & Navisworks. Run clash and other reports. Understand and comment on output data. Facilitate review meetings.• Ensure NDY activities and designs are fully coordinated to the extent required by the project brief• Check and mark up document sets, ensuring they comply with NDY guidelines and are clear, well presented, and provide all necessary information for the project stage.• Provide input to production of standard details & library maintenance.• Ensure documentation produced meets client requirements• Ensure NDYs QA system is implemented and maintained on all projects.
