In September 2022 I completed a project-based learning experience via Harness Projects, learning UX design and working on a live UX Design brief for Unhedged. In this role I successfully designed UX enhancements for the Unhedged mobile app. I collaborated with Regan Shute, Product Owner at Unhedged, along with my mentor and presented my final solution at the end of the 9 week program.

My role is to create graphic design with a client focus on project basis. The job requires sharp graphic skills, understanding RMIT brand guideline, high independency and excellent knowledge of Adobe Suite to turn briefs into creative artworks such as flow charts, presentations, visual timetables, flyers, posters, emails, short videos and GIFS.—Portfolio/Group:RMIT Information Technology Services (ITS), Chief Information Security Office (CISO)Summary:Working in a team of two creative designers and key stakeholders in the Chief Information Security Office (CISO) tasked with the design and production of 2018 Cybersecurity campaign across all RMIT campuses (Melbourne, Vietnam and Barcelona) as well as a design of Cybersecurity 2017 Annual Report. The key deliverables of the 2018 Cybersecurity campaign include a personal-touch focused booklet, a series posters, screen savers and collaterals.The work of Cybersecurity Campaign involves:- Interviewed key stakeholders in the CISO Office- Conducted basic research on relevant facts and trends and understanding the audience use of technology- Put together a design brief, project timeline, proposal in both written and presentation formats for stakeholders to review and discuss in face to face meetings- Came up with design concepts based on the research - Documented the design requirements and tracking the design schedule - Produced alternated design mockups and ready to print design files for final productions- Worked on top of RMIT brand guideline and communicating closely with marketing department to make sure the designs are on brand- Applied the chosen design to a digital posters and screen saver format for display across all RMIT campuses.

I led an identity design & publicity group of two design students to create and execute a typography and copywriting driven visual identity solution using the materials from the archives for a one night only exhibition in collaboration with the RMIT Design Archives, RMIT Master of Communication Program and the Fashion Design Council (1983–93).My responsibility including:- Managed tasks and timelines for the team- Art-directed the identity design- Proposed the identity design on behalf of our team- Briefed the team members with the tasks and coordinated with teams - Supported/art-directed the publication group on using the identity guideline, e.g. typography, colour, elements and grid system- Creation of identity elements and tone- Organised group critique to gain collective feedback for monitoring tasks, timelines, and areas for improvement

A great in-house opportunity for me to reconsider my role to be an ‘analytical creative’ rather than a graphic designer in a highly structured government organisation.Key responsibilities including:- Identified a range of strategic driven subjects and topics for development of infographics through in-depth research and interviews with stakeholders to collect raw data and gain understanding of service offer and user needs- Helped the team to develop a new respectful gender-balance iconography which was beyond the standard brand assets of the City of Melbourne- Developed a new briefing document to ensure the clarity in terms of the purpose, needs and deliverables - Assessed the raw information provided and worked out the best way to present it by providing a few different examples to choose from- Presented the progress to a project control group weekly, which consisted of a content expert, a communications expert and a brand expert and took on collective feedback (with a smile!)- Created a flexible yet systematic infographics design template files for staff at the City of Melbourne to backup and update internallyThe whole process involved:Briefing, proposal, questionnaires, face-to-face interviews, weekly check-in meeting and artwork refining. This client-driven project test out my abilities and potentials to work highly independently and closely with stakeholders from the research stage to the final art direction production. As a graphic design student with a strong interest in digital marketing area, I assisted with product styling and created content of indoor photoshooting for social media promotion.
