I was responsible for establishing a research team comprised of doctoral level investigators, physician-scientists, graduate students and technical staff. I directed and initiated cancer research projects that were local, state and federally funded.In 2010, I was the recipient of the Medical Marker Award given by the Orlando City Mayor Dyer for 'Advancing Life Sciences in Central Florida.'In 2013, I was the recognized by Rollins College Alumni Association with the 2013 Alumni Achievement Award for Outstanding Career in Science. I have authored over 40 peer-reviewed scientific manuscripts focused on the biology of cancer and treatment strategies. I dedicate time attending local and regional cancer charity events on behalf of BioCurity. I am very passionate and dedicated to helping cancer patients through the research and mission of BioCurity.
