My husband and I found Pilates on a journey of health and wellness for our daughter who suffered from scoliosis. Not only did Pilates benefit her, but it also helped each of us on our own fitness journey's as professional athletes. The need to allow individuals to purchase their own Pilates Reformer machine or Pilates equipment in their home and to help provide potential studios with a choice of providers was what drove us to develop Pilates Reformers Australia.As the Co-founder and Managing Director my role has grown and evolved over the 10 years that we have been in business. It now encompasses managing people, departments, business management, strategy,and planning. I ensure that we continue to build and maintain our relationships with our clients so that they all experience the benefits of Pilates based on their individual needs. My passion for Pilates and the need to help others realise the benefits that Pilates offers, led me to study the discipline. I use my knowledge as a Diploma Certified Pilates Instructor to research what is happening in the Pilates industry but also to help assist individuals, studios, gyms and Allied Health practices to use Pilates to build their businesses, because their success is our success.

Pilates is a methodology that assists many individuals to achieve a desired health or wellness goal. My journey into Pilates mimics many other individuals who had some kind of health issue that they wanted to solve. I wanted to share this knowledge and understanding with others and so Semprose Pilates and Fitness studio was born. As the Founder and Director, Semprose provides Group Reformer classes as well as the traditional private and semi private Pilates classes. As the senior Pilates Instructor my role mainly involves working with clients who require rehabilitation or for individuals with specific fitness goals such as athletes in a variety of sporting disciplines or those recovering from cancer. I collaborate with Allied Health professionals in the area to meet the needs of their clients as well.Semprose offers Pilates to individuals over 2 locations, Smeaton Grange and Gregory Hills.

A Tensegrity Training Course Provider works with individuals who wish to learn the Pilates discipline in Mat, Reformer and the variety of Pilates Equipment. As a Certified Pilates Instructor, my role as a course provider is as a teacher trainer and mentor to students learning the Pilates method. From assisting students work through their assessments, providing workshops for students to practice teaching, to examining students in the various disciplines, the role of course provider provided a plethora of opportunities to guide and support the next generation of Pilates instructors on their Pilates journey.
