I am a board certified dental specialist who focuses on patients who have suffered trauma, congenital anomalies or have had surgery due to cancer on non cancerous tumours. I work with patients who have had car accidents and TMJ issues, need Botox injections for head and neck pain and do everything your normal Prosthodontist does as well! I work with other medical specialists to ensure that the patient obtains the best care from the right people in the right specialties. I have developed education programs and have taught locally, nationally and internationally. I am a published author and ensure that my work environments focus on Equity, Diversity and Inclusion. I work in private practice seeing patients who are in need of my care. If you do not need me - I will find the right place for you to be. I have been an examiner for the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, a President of the Alberta Academy of Prosthodontists, President of the Alberta Society of Dental Specialists and President of the Canadian Association of Women Dentists (AAWD component). I was the first female dentist to obtain tenure at the University of Alberta. I was the first board certified Prosthodontist hired at the University of Alberta. I teach to guide and mentor. I lead to ensure there is equity and that voices who must be heard are empowered. Lead of the Alberta Head and Neck Cancer Dental Leadership team .
