Key accomplishments include: • 2023 Aspen Rising Presidential Fellow. • Implemented a five-year comprehensive academic planning process utilizing Gray Decision Intelligence to create data dashboards utilizing job demand data, college financial data, and student success data. • Updated college policy to implement a new faculty salary plan, workload, flexible work schedules and shared governance processes. • Developed a model for multiple length faculty contracts to meet the changing needs of our students who need to complete their education in a shorter time. • Worked with faculty & chairs to identify efficiencies in scheduling & staffing saving the college over $500,000 annually in instructional costs, with the potential to save more than $2M annually once fully implemented. • Provided leadership for the college’s initiative to become an Achieving the Dream network school. • Refocused faculty professional development efforts to center on student success, equitable outcomes, and culturally responsive pedagogy. • Restructured Information Technology, eLearning, and Library to create an Instructional Technology division with a Center for Innovation in Teaching & Learning, Student Success & Tutoring Center, and Learning Commons. • Established a Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning to support faculty in development of effective pedagogical practices and curriculum that meet the needs of onsite, online, and concurrent enrollment classes. • Implemented a strategic scheduling system utilizing Ad Astra predictive analytics which will guide the college in developing schedules & advisement that facilitate student retention and completion.
