As ACC’s Chief Academic Officer, I provide leadership and administrative oversight to the college’s instructional and academic support services, Information Technology, Institutional Research, and Institutional Effectiveness and serve as the college’s CEO in the president’s absence. Key accomplishments include: • 2023 Aspen Rising Presidential Fellow. • Implemented a five-year comprehensive academic planning process utilizing Gray Decision Intelligence to create data dashboards utilizing job demand data, college financial data, and student success data. • Updated college policy to implement a new faculty salary plan, workload, flexible work schedules and shared governance processes. • Developed a model for multiple length faculty contracts to meet the changing needs of our students who need to complete their education in a shorter time. • Worked with faculty & chairs to identify efficiencies in scheduling & staffing saving the college over $500,000 annually in instructional costs, with the potential to save more than $2M annually once fully implemented. • Provided leadership for the college’s initiative to become an Achieving the Dream network school. • Refocused faculty professional development efforts to center on student success, equitable outcomes, and culturally responsive pedagogy. • Restructured Information Technology, eLearning, and Library to create an Instructional Technology division with a Center for Innovation in Teaching & Learning, Student Success & Tutoring Center, and Learning Commons. • Established a Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning to support faculty in development of effective pedagogical practices and curriculum that meet the needs of onsite, online, and concurrent enrollment classes. • Implemented a strategic scheduling system utilizing Ad Astra predictive analytics which will guide the college in developing schedules & advisement that facilitate student retention and completion.

As the inaugural diversity officer, I worked directly with the college president and leadership team to guide inclusion, diversity, equity, and access (IDEA) efforts internally within the college and externally in the local community.Major accomplishments in this role:• Established of a campus wide Access & Inclusion Advisory Committee.• Developed of a A&I strategic plan and helped to incorporate equity into the college’s strategic plan.• Implemented campus wide climate surveys for students, faculty, and staff.• Organized racial equity workshops for over 500 college and community representatives.• Established an IDEA professional development certificate.• Established an LGBTQ+ Resource Center.

Responsible for facilitating and implementing educational opportunities for the students and residents of Alachua and Bradford counties served by Santa Fe’s educational centers in Starke, Keystone Heights, Archer, and downtown Gainesville, as well as the College’s East Gainesville Instruction initiative. Provide leadership for the centers in the areas of marketing, recruitment, enrollment management, retention, program assessment, community outreach, safety and security, and all initiatives related to the College mission. Manage the fiscal and human resources through oversight and evaluation of center operations.

Develop curriculum and teach Information Technology courses in the traditional classroom, online and in a blended classroom format. Experienced with Learning Management Systems, HTML 5, CSS, video conferencing, and asynchronous and synchronous online teaching methods. Coordinate with local employers to provide students on the job experience through an internship program.

Wild Iris Books is feminist and LGBTQ bookstore which serves as a community center and seeks to empower young professionals by providing a space where they can learn about small business management and community activism. • Manage all aspects of the business, including maintaining corporate records; inventory; managing employees and volunteers; marketing and social networking; and deploying and maintaining on online retail store. • Coordinated the establishment of Friends of Wild Iris (FoWI), as a 501(c)3 sister non-profit organization to Wild Iris Books (WIB). Established the Board of Directors, drafted Bylaws and Articles of Incorporation, filed incorporation paperwork, and secured 501(c) 3 status.• Manage an online e-Commerce presence and website, including inventory integration, search engine optimization analytics and social media marketing.

• Coordinated the successful conversion of an Apple Talk network to an Ethernet network consisting of both Macintosh and PC workstations with Novell NetWare and Windows SQL servers. • Designed and implemented an organizational wide document management system (PC-DOCs).• Trained users in the use of Microsoft Office products, PC-DOCs document management and the Novell network. • Provided Systems Analysis for customized database applications.

Increased income by 155% in less than three years. • Hired, trained and managed up to 40 staff members. • Secured over $200,000 in grant funding.•. Established a corporate HIV/AIDS education program designed to help employees better support their employees with HIV as well as ensure employees understood universal precautions.
