Cheryl conducts enterprise-wide and breach determination risk assessments. She works closely with Information Security and Clinical Researchers to facilitate HIPAA compliance and continued integration of privacy and security awareness and compliant practices within the hospital culture. Cheryl also assists in monitoring HIPAA compliance with data security of research protocols. Training of staff about HIPAA privacy and data security is an integral part of her position. Cheryl has a Master of Science Degree in Epidemiology and is published. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), is a certified OneTrust VRM Expert and has certification in Strategic Decision and Risk Management.
