Operations Manager with responsibility for running the British arm of the European Breeders' Fund, a not-for-profit racing industry initiative first established in 1983. Oversee total annual budget of £2 million+.Reporting to Board of senior industry executives on progress made against strategic objectives and KPIs. Preparation of meeting agendas and papers. Providing regular updates to the Board outside of meetings on matters to be aware of, or that require input or decision.Heading up internal Race Planning Committee and assist in implementation of UK wide race programme comprising 600+ Flat and National Hunt races, liaison with racecourse management and BHA Racing Department. Total budget approx. £2 million.Engaging with key stakeholders on stud farms in UK, across Europe and in USA to calculate and initiate payment of annual stallion registrations forming the majority of company income.Coordinate collection of nomination payments from majority US breeders. Liaison with US Jockey Club Information Systems; importation of foal crop data; communicate with wide range of stakeholders including breeders, trainers, sales houses, etc.Checking of sales entries for all major European and US yearling sales. Monitoring sales results and implementation of contact procedure for purchasers.Oversee day to day running of office including responsibility for IT requirements.

Volunteer Committee Member | Mentor programme leadResponsible for highly regarded WiR Mentoring programme. Oversaw review and expansion, recruiting a variety of women in senior positions in the racing industry resulting in a doubling in available mentors.Managing 40+ mentors, arranging training opportunities to ensure they are confident in their roles. Responsible for assessment of mentees and guiding them through the mentoring process and matching mentees to an appropriate mentor based on personality and needs. Undertook organisation of various WiR events, planning schedules, recruiting guest speakers, promotion and managing ticket sales. Acting as host on the day and took an active lead in panel discussions.
