Happy to share that I have joined Liberty Utilities as a Senior Manager, IT Audits in the Compliance Department. I enjoyed my years at Canada Life and GWL. Participated and conducted complex, high risk assurance and advisory projects in accordance with professional auditing standards using sound project management principles. Provided independent and objective professional assurance and advisory services to the business and Senior Management on the areas of control, governance and risk.

Reviewed enterprise level IT project implementations assessed the effectiveness and efficiency of project management processes and controls established to manage risks to ensure that project objectives and outcomes were achieved.

Planned and conducted information systems audits. Identified and assessed risks for assigned areas based on COSO and COBIT framework. Prepared audit initiation plan and reports containing in-depth findings and value added and practical recommendations.Performed Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) walkthroughs of significant IT processes, identified key controls and developed efficient test plans. Executed test procedures and evaluated results, analyzed exceptions and formed conclusions. Contributed to the adoption of innovative tools, technology and techniques to optimize assurance services.
