As a keen traveller and parent of two children with physical impairments, I have developed a website which provides disabled travellers with the knowledge they need to make informed choices about the journeys they take. A Wheel and Away is designed to act as a resource for those independent travellers who want to see the world, but have a disability that makes adventuring more challenging. The site offers an opportunity for people to share experiences, inspire others and find the information they need to make their plans a reality.

I also work as a self employed teacher of English as a foreign language. I work with young people, usually aged between 9-16, from a variety of different countries, to help them attain a good level of competence in the English language.

Took time out to be a full time mum to my two children. During this time I had a couple of part time, self employed roles including running a small business sourcing and selling items from Morocco.

Owner at River Consulting, an independent recruitment agency specialising in the provision of specialised sales staff from director level down.

My role was one of a trouble shooter for under performing branches. I was responsible for taking on individual branches that were falling short of projected performance targets and ensuring they got back on track.

I was headhunted to work for this clinical trials company as a logistics manager.

My role involved working at senior level with NHS trusts to implement effective and viable solutions to counter the millions of pounds lost within the health service every year on DNA's (Did Not Attends). I was involved with the roll out of several trials with a number of trusts including Guy's and St Thomas's in London.
