Successfully completed the process establishing our company as a service provider able to bid on government contracts. Currently working on a marketing strategy to improve sales, increase new client interest and support client retention. Responsible for providing target research for marketing strategies; networking and collaborating with potential partners and clients; and collaborating with the Web Designer to update the company website.

I volunteered for the additional position of special education School Lead for a new software platform supporting the Student Information System, and Special Education System for managing student portfolios and IEPs. I was responsible for presenting professional development training sessions to school and citywide special education staff, and for providing one-on-one support to colleagues.

In addition to core curriculum and learning standards, my education program included teaching students problem-solving skills, social skills, positive strategies, and calming techniques for improving academic and social performance. My responsibilities included: creating lesson plans and individual education plans (IEPs); data collection and analysis; managing staff and caseload to provide effective student support and maximum coverage; modeling, training, consulting, and actively supporting teaching professionals on effective work strategies; modifications, and accommodations regarding instruction and materials; collaborating and coordinating with parents, school administrators, local leaders, colleagues, teacher assistants and various student service providers.

As the substitute teacher for absentee teaching staff, I taught high school students in every subject matter. My role was to provide coverage where needed most, deliver teacher instructions, and support student achievement. I remained flexible with any of my down time to offer support when needed to the office, guidance, media specialists, and other staff. East Hampton’s use of Google Suite and the integration of technology in he high school curriculum gave me the opportunity to strengthen my computer skills.

Responsible for management of wait staff, reservations, inventory, ordering, sales, accounting, and customer and community relations including promotional business interfacing.

As a self-contained teacher for students with autism, both verbal and non-verbal, I was responsible for improving academic and social performance for students with varying ability levels. My program included much of the same responsibilities and pedagogical techniques utilized in my previous special education experience, in addition to modeling and supporting transition skills, spatial-, group-, and self-awareness skills, and sign language communication.

As a first-year teacher I taught students with special needs and diverse learning styles. I was responsible for developing curriculum and employing various pedagogical techniques to promote active learning. I managed staff and student caseload to provide effective student support and coverage, and presented professional faculty development training, and was nominated for a first-year teaching award.

Member of a Corporate Training Team established to develop and implement targeted finance training. Assisted in developing training programs, and restructuring training manuals for all Loan Origination professionals. Conducted training sessions, guided staff development, coached and appraised performance, and provided on-site technical support. As a branch manager I managed multiple loan origination offices in New York and Connecticut.
