I managed Business Continuity processes and procedures for a large contact center operations program. This included tracking and reporting on metrics and providing on-going training opportunities for team members. I also oversaw updates to Business Continuity Plans and Contingency Plans for the program. I served as the main customer and program contact and subject matter expert regarding Business Continuity. In addition, I also maintained the program Emergency Response Plan and worked to ensure all members of the program team were aware of emergency procedures. The second key part of my responsibilities was related to Information Security and Privacy; ensuring the program was compliant with standards (NIST, FISMA) and especially HIPAA. I assisted in performing risk assessments and documenting risk acceptance. Reviewing Security and Privacy event reports, in compliance with HIPAA, was a key component of my daily duties. I worked with cross-functional teams, at a program and corporate level, every day in ensuring continuity and compliance for the program.
