During my internship, I have been gaining more knowledge and experience in the field of media by supporting the team in coordinating the media strategy of above-the-line (TV & OOH) media buying across different markets. I have gained a better understanding of the production process of media planning and the implementation and execution of an advertising campaign by coordinating with the media team, brand team, and local agencies.

The 5-month program introduced me to career opportunities within the creative marketing industry by providing in-depth knowledge and hands-on learning experiences. Through weekly workshops, briefs and strategic insights were generated before the creative ideas were developed and executed for 3 different clients (Shea Moisture, Bud, JustEat Takeaway.com).From briefs and strategy to creative ideas, and media production, the program offered a clear understanding of the advertising industry and the different roles/tasks within the industry. The program was taught and guided by a diverse group of very inspiring mentors and award-winning creative marketing professionals with a mission to make the Dutch marketing industry a more inclusive playground for everyone to thrive.
