Current Monitors ASACS via computers and CCTV; operates audio and video recording systems; monitors Airport fire alarm boards, weather alert radio/emergency alert system, aviation NAVAID system. Initiates and coordinates law enforcement response to airport security alarms pursuant to state and federal laws and FAA regulations, providing support for FAR 107.14. Clears lost, stolen or terminated employee ID badges from ASACS within FAA-specified time limits. Serves as dispatcher including use of all NCIC computer functions required by the CCAAPD, e.g., requesting vehicle and driver information, criminal history and other inquiries; response to requests from other agencies, "10-minute hits," administrative messages; adding and deleting stolen property information from state files. Coordinates response to Airport emergencies according to the Airport emergency plan, following prescribed response steps and direction from CCAAPD and management personnel. Maintains accurate records as events occur. Performs radio dispatch duties for other CCAA departments including Operations and Maintenance. Operates main Airport switchboard receiving and directing calls to/from the public and/or airport tenants, the ATCT emergency "hot line" and Airport emergency phone. Functions as after-hours information desk and receptionist. Maintains current Airport phone listings for tenants, CCAA and essential contacts.Disseminates information as directed, e.g., terminal paging, NOTAMs, press releases, etc.
