Manage the daily operations of a federally funded Parent Training and Information Center serving 30 counties in Northern CA under two grants. ● responsible for day-to-day PTI operations, under the leadership and guidance of Executive Director ● ensure PTI services and support for families of children and youth with disabilities ages 0 - 26 are provided consistent with grant requirements ● foster a positive work environment and culture of teamwork, equity, and growth ● responsible for recruiting, training, supervising all PTI staff. ● outreach to and establish working relationships with community partners in targeted priority areas ● coordinate, plan and communicate effectively with grant partners ● work in partnership with Director of Operations and Executive Director to develop and submit grant RFPs and complete grant reporting

Provide training, technical support and direct advocacy/intervention in complex cases to youth with disabilities, and families, caregivers and professionals, with a focus on supporting court involved, foster youth and marginalized families. Work to ensure that children receive appropriate education support using existing education and civil rights laws. Participate at county and state level to effect systems change through legislative reform, policy change and meaningful implementation of disability civil rights law. Train and support new advocates.

Co- developed and managed innovative transition support program developed for young adults with neurocognitive disabilities to provide life skills, case management and service coordination with local colleges, vocational training, social support and independent living skills. Prepared senior students for transition to adulthood, interfaced with students on college campuses and in job training to ensure appropriate services were in place, and facilitate student connection with resources and community. Facilitated interagency collaboration/engagement between Department of Rehabilitation, School Districts, Disabled Students Programs, Regional Centers/DDS, County mental health and other stakeholders to coordinate transition planning and support..

part of a multidisciplinary team researching the ethics healthcare decision-making and genetic testing. Conducted recruitment, in depth semi-structured interviewing (in person and by phone) across country, coding and data analysis of transcribed interviews of individuals with disabilities with a genetic component. Project focused on questions of genetic "stigma" and decisions about whether, and when to undergo genetic testing. Worked with Team to develop conclusions and recommendations based on results of the research.

Designed and taught Summer Session courses in Medical Anthropology focusing on stigma, mental illness and the lived experience of psychiatric differences cross culturally.

Growing from initial entry level position to managing three departments, responsible for three departments and reporting directly to CEO. Hired, trained and monitored performance of 30 employees. Developed and implemented budget. Created model quality assurance program, produced procedural manual and implemented training for 30 staff members. Program and federal quality evaluations recognized as model by FNMA and HUD.
