Employed from 1984 - 1992 in the automotive industry as a Quality Control Manager. Free trade opened up cheaper labour options along the Mexican border and the industry in Canada for automotive wiring harnesses faltered. I went back to college for a year to freshen up and was given the opportunity to develop, with the mentoring of an amazing manager, as a Purchasing Officer (domestic and international steel coil) and Steel Tubing Mill Scheduler from 1993 - 2003. In 2003 I moved across the pond and started work firstly as a Customer Service Manager for a white goods 3PL but moved to Inventory Controller for NSW and for a period, national inventory control until 2013. In 2014 I found my new home in the Transport Industry where I've had the opportunity to gain experience in Customer Service Management, Compliance, Bookings and debriefing. More than a just a job, more like a family when you work along side a great team!
