I have been a Project Manager at Pacific Watershed Associates Inc. since 2000. I am responsible for all stages of erosion control and erosion prevention watershed restoration projects, which includes proposal writing, budget preparation, permitting, field work participation and supervision (for data collection and mapping), landowner coordination, data analysis and reporting, GIS map preparation, and heavy equipment and labor oversight for erosion prevention and erosion control treatment work. I have spoken at conferences, lead field trips, and assisted in workshops on regional restoration strategies and implementation of best management practices.Specialties: Erosion control and erosion prevention assessment and planning projects for roads, trails, and fish passage improvement projects, including grant writing, sediment source assessments; road system evaluation; measurement and quantification of past and potential sediment sources; development of erosion control and erosion prevention prescriptions; stream channel erosion assessments; landslide mapping and supervision of heavy equipment during implementation of recommended work.
