Communications Manager, focused on managing the successful implementation of 9-1-1 Technology and Accreditation-specific projects for CCOM. These projects include computer-aided dispatch, telephone, radio, logging recorder, facility, and website/social media presences for CCOM. Elected as Secretary of the Oregon APCO-NENA Chapter in January 2015.

Managed a countywide emergency management program and homeland security program that operated in two regions (which overlap in Clark County). Supervised and participated in preparedness exercises, provide oversight for multi-million dollar grant programs and managed the Emergency Operations Center for regional response, recovery and mitigation. Served as President-Elect from 2010-2011 and President from 2011-2012 and Legislative Chair from 2012-2013 for an association of professional emergency managers within the State of Washington.During these 3 years, I was also responsible for developing the social media footprint for the association including the website, Facebook and Twitter engagement with our community of stakeholders.

Leadership Clark County is a year-long program that involved significant monthly training, familiarizing students with various aspects of Clark County. It also places students into teams, based on their Birkman leadership assessments, in order to accomplish a community-impact project. I was a graduate of the class of 2008. During my tenure, I was on Team Government and completed a project to develop a web-based portal for government agencies within Clark County, Washington, and completed an assessment of community engagement.Beyond my time as a student, I have served as an LCC Mentor for Team Environment in 2010 and a Project Manager for a student-led team in 2013. I continue to be involved in LCC as my schedule permits.

Developed countywide homeland security program, managed millions of dollars in grant funding, conducted exercises and implemented training in weapons of mass destruction. Recognized by the Center for Domestic Preparedness as a Gold Standard Trainer for 2005.

Intake Counselor, conducting assessments of youth under arrest for determination of release, referral or placement in detention or other residential services. Crisis counseling and risk assessments. Also maintained a caseload of clients in the Diversion program.
