A senior investment professional with over 20 years of capital management experience, Cheryl Brandon is the Co-Founder and Co-Managing Partner of Kinterra Capital, a Toronto-based private equity firm focused on developing the critical materials and downstream infrastructure necessary for the energy transition. Prior to Kinterra Capital, Ms. Brandon was a founding partner of Waterton Global, a mining-focused private equity fund with $2B in AUM. Prior to founding Waterton in 2009, Ms. Brandon co-managed resource investment strategies at multiple alternative asset management firms in Toronto and New York.Ms. Brandon was recognized as Top 40 Under 40 in 2021 and received the Distinguished Graduate Award from the Goodman School of Business. She completed the Rotman Institute of Corporate Directors designation and completed a Master of Science at Columbia University. Ms. Brandon is a Chartered Financial Analyst Charter Holder and member of the Toronto Society of Financial Analysts.
