Recruited into a young real estate investment & development firm to establish brand platform and approach to development repositioning projects, reporting directly to Managing Partner. • Provided leadership to internal team members and robust external consultant teams in the fields of design, engineering, permitting, construction, legal, and marketing. • Responsible for value creation within real estate transactions through exceptional design. Represented the “voice of design” for all assets within portfolio• Accountable for all facets of project management of multiple concurrent development projects, including defining project framework and success metrics, upholding consistent internal & external communication & reporting, developing & managing budgets & schedules, influencing decisions regarding scope and quality tradeoffs to meet project goals, building external team of consultants, driving permitting strategies, and overseeing construction• Demonstrated deep understanding of building codes, design and engineering process, and industry trends; synthesized solutions to advance project-specific objectives • Assessed technical drawings and documents for compliance with stakeholder objectives pertaining to level of quality, scope gaps, and potential coordination issues• Coordinated with brokers and agents; lead property tours and meet with prospective buyers / tenants • Collaborated with acquisition team, exploring repositioning concepts of target deals and providing precursory feasibility, cost, and timeline metrics to inform underwriting • Engaged in recruiting efforts for potential new hires at all levels of company and select positions within subsidiary companies• Developed corporate and project policies & procedures and template documents, sought new ways to improve project delivery, implementation, and tracking.
