Scope of work increased to 3 operating businesses when the French luxury group purchased Daum Inc. Haviland USA Inc. and Royale de Champagne• Accountable for the day-to-day U.S. operations of the management and administrative functions up to and including consolidated financial statements for three entities. Sales volumes as well as all operational transactions increased by 200%.• Implemented a retail “point of sale” system by adapting core system in a way that all functions such as finance, GL, purchasing, invoicing, inventory distribution could operate without intensive staff retraining, new reporting or systems upgrades.• Began 3rd Party Distribution performing all distribution, customer service and accounting functions through financials for a fourth discrete brand. Created processes appropriate to supporting lower price point business along with accounting practices to track and bill for work efforts specific to 3rd party distribution.

Luxury Market. Accountable for the day-to-day operations of the management and administrative functions of all North American Business. Produced monthly Profit & Loss statements. Coordinated all departments and activities, trained and managed a staff of 36 including administrative staff, sales manager and sales team, customer service, and logistics.• Re-engineered procurement and inventory management processes, increasing on hand SKU’S in regional facilities to reduce freight charges and reducing speed to market from 6 weeks to 3 days.• Established and Implemented extensive customer/consumer awareness programs to rebuild confidence, focusing on product knowledge at point of sale resulting in dominating the Encrustation market.• Chargebacks reduced from 3 % to ½%. Net result operating costs by more than $50,000 annually within 6 months. Increased overall profit margins by focusing on policies and procedures companywide optimizing productivity and increasing morale.• Developed sales plans, retail assortments, printed materials including point-of-sale and consumer for the largest product launch ever executed in the luxury tabletop market. Coordinated efforts with parent company in France while maintaining full authority and accountability for decisions made for the US and Canadian markets.• Directed operations during two major organizational transformations: a) from investment group ownership to a privately owned entity; b) private to multiple owners; c) multiple owners back to private. External partners and clients viewed organizational changes as seamless.
