Performed extensive economic analysis and planning, including developing forecasting models and conducting in-depth policy research and analysis.In addition, I led the delivery of numerous marketing and communications projects across various media, including print and online advertising, social media, and radio, in order to increase brand awareness and improve public perception of the industry. Key Achievements: Expanded positive public perception of BC chicken growers from 47% to 61% through the delivery of engaging and informative marketing campaigns across traditional and digital media. Developed a demand index model for chicken in Canada.

I oversaw all aspects of communications, marketing, and policy development for a non-profit organization representing the interests of farmers and ranchers across BC.Key Achievements:  Managed all aspects of external communications, including screening media calls, responding to requests, preparing key messages, and coaching team members on effective responses.  Built and maintained positive, long-term relationships with a wide range of stakeholders in the agricultural industry, including businesses, farmers, government agencies, sponsors, and non-profit organizations. Oversaw policy development and analysis, including analyzing policies specific to foreign labour, housing, waste management, and recycling in the agricultural industry. Administered meetings to discuss Canada's Seasonal Agricultural Worker Program (SAWP) with employers, industry organizations, provincial and federal governments, and consulate generals (Mexico and other Caribbean states). Led planning for the annual BC agricultural gala and build a system for effectively securing sponsorships.

I served as a panel member on an independent administrative tribunal to adjudicate and resolve disputes within the agricultural industry. In this role, I collaborated with panel members to review evidence and analyze legislation such as the BC Farm Practices Protection Act and the BC Natural Products Marketing Act in order to facilitate decision-making. My role also required me to write clear and detailed administrative tribunal decisions by effectively communicating explanations and reasoning in accordance with relevant laws and policies.

I delivered project management, marketing, and economic analysis services for public and private sector clients, including Alberta Agriculture, Abbotsford Growers, BC Ministry of Agriculture, and Investment Agriculture Foundation of BC.Key Achievements: Conducted comprehensive market opportunity assessments on a variety of agricultural products for various clients, including preparing detailed reports with recommendations for senior management. Prepared financial reports and plans for individual farmers, including initial assessments as well as specialized reports in relation to marketing and succession planning. Wrote in-depth articles on projects funded by the Investment Agriculture Foundation of BC by interviewing stakeholders from agricultural and food companies across the province.
