Cheryl led the 2022 financial planning process for the Risk and Compliance department which includes management of the Budget and provides oversight to staffing maintenance and detailed reporting to senior leaders.A 10-year BNY Mellon veteran, Cheryl’s previous roles include leading a Technology Finance team that produced the monthly P&L and provided financial insights to Operations and Technology Enterprise, Information Security and TSG (Technology Services Group) through active engagement, strong partnership, and strategic analysis for budget and forecast decisions. Additionally, Cheryl was a Chief Administrative Officer for many years where she provided financial management and day to day operational oversight across multiple Technology organizations. Before joining the bank, Cheryl had similar financial roles at other organizations.Cheryl holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Management from Thiel College and has a master’s degree with a Finance focus from LaSalle University, both located in her native state of Pennsylvania. She has been an active member of WIN (Women’s Initiative Network) for many years and had previously served as co-CFO for the Pittsburgh Chapter of WIN. She is active in her community, serving on the Citizens Advisory Committee for North Allegheny School District.
