Increased the knowledge of healthcare providers and healthcare staff by providing educational in-services in diagnosing, managing and treating COPD and Asthma, smoking cessation, spirometry training and adherence support. Administer one on one or group educational session for patients ensuring they understand how to manage and control their respiratory disease. Instruct patients on proper medical device usage and techniques, smoking cessation, medication adherence, nutritional support, basic respiratory physiology and environmental controls.

Ensures patients receive optimal levels of care by exceeding patient expectations when conducting pulmonary function tests, evaluating results, and determining treatment plans. Orchestrate the provision of respiratory treatment in a critical care environment, using ventilator management, airway management suctioning, intubations, extubations, aerosol therapy, oxygen therapy, chest physiotherapy (CPT), arterial blood gas (ABG) tests, bedside spirometry, acute changes team (ACT), and code blue team. Facilitate care for patients including neonate, infants, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, and burn patients at every acuity level.
