I am an anxiety and attachment therapist who works with adults that may be feeling “stuck” or disconnected. I also work with adults who want to improve the quality of their relationships and work on their overall personal growth. Since every client is unique, I use an eclectic and holistic approach. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space to help increase self-awareness and acceptance to honor strengths, feelings, and needs. I use a collaborative approach in assisting my clients to look inward at themselves, relationships (past and present), and diving into the past to discover patterns and insight that keep them feeling stuck. I utilize psychodynamic approaches to help gain insight into the origins of unhelpful or unhealthy thoughts and feelings, exploration of attachment style and how that impacts your relationships, and processing unresolved and/or multi-generational history of family trauma. I also include an integrated mind/body approach by practicing mindfulness and focusing on somatic symptoms in the here and now. Understanding the mind & body connection is a key factor in my therapy approach to help reduce anxiety and triggers.
