Working for Glemco, I was originally hired in as a contractor working remotely from California to get the MRP system up and running using the Macola Data base. After a matter of approximately 5-6 weeks, and a conversation about my possible relocation to Texas, I was hired as a Glemco employee and allowed to continuing working remotely from California, I worked diligently on getting the parameters set in the system so that the MRP was producing accurate information. I was responsible for the input and output of the MRP system as well as correcting and updating field requirements that effected that output. I generated the Shop Floor orders as well as following through with purchasing of material needed to meet the Mfg. demand. I worked hand in hand with the Operations Manager going over all the aspects of the data as well as Sales and Purchasing to achieve this goal. In my final stages at Glemco, I was starting to use a third party production scheduling system that had direct interface with the enterprise system. After working for a year remotely in another state, Glemco felt the position could be reassigned in house.

Responsible for the MRP input and output for Production Planning and Purchasing creating a workable master production schedule Utilizing the Macola data base and the sales forecast, as well as cover all orders not in the plan. Assure all sales orders were shipped as promised with a run rate of 99.9%. Managed the Production Planners, Shipping, Receiving, Stockroom and all of Finished goods. Conducted a meeting every morning with a representative from all departments to go over any last minute changes to the daily plan. Provide exception reports to upper management on any issue that arise. Oversee all phases of inventory and production from the time an order comes in until it ships. Lead ISO auditor, scheduler and trainer for all internal audits. Perform cycle counts on a regular basis to attain a better control of the physical inventory as well as WIP. All Finished goods items are counted at the beginning of ea. month to assure inventory accuracy maintaining an accuracy level of 99.0%IMC Networks Production PlannerImplement a shop floor control system as well as an MRP system to track inventory and Work in Process within a 45 day window Using the Macola database. Trained all employees in the new process and their new responsibilities. Promoted to Master scheduler within the first 3 month of employment.
