In this position I work one-on-one with students presenting a spectrum of mental, physical, behavioral, and emotional challenges and disabilities. I work in all district schools, mainly concentrating in the high school. It is a collaborative team effort that requires careful documentation and reporting: ♦ Collaborate with OT, PT, and Speech Therapy professionals in the high school to ensure continuity of routines with students throughout the week.♦ Perform quarterly IEP assessments and provide documentation for IEP charting.♦ Communicate daily with parents and caregivers through carefully documented reports and updates. ♦ Teach, tutor, test, assist, scribe, and assist students with development of skills necessary for successful employment navigation.
