Presently focusing on Covid-19 Safety Protocols to ensure a safe and healthy work environment. For the past two years I have held the position of Safety Officer on the Port's Incident Management Team. Duties have included updating the Covid-19 Prevention Policy, conducting worksite assessments and overseeing ordering and supplies for prevention. Conduct New Employee Orientation, Emergency Operations Training and other required Safety & Emergency Response Training. Responsible for Construction Safety oversight for Engineering Bureau Projects. Team member for the highly successful Middle Harbor Redevelopment Project. The redevelopment project was a 1.2 billion project that upgraded wharves, water access & storage and expanded dock rail yards. Duties included Design Reviews, Pre-Bid Activities and reviewing Site Specific Safety Plan submittals to ensure compliance with contract specifications. Performed Field Audits and documented safety issues. Provide assistance in the Port's Business Continuity Program including participating in tabletop exercises and full scale exercises.
